The production process of the MONET 18 bentwood chair is based on the proven wood-bending technique known from classic Thonet designs. Carefully selected pieces of beechwood are placed in special chambers and treated with hot steam. Under the influence of heat and moisture, the wood becomes flexible and ready to be shaped in steel forms, giving it the characteristic curves of the backrest, legs and armrests – without unnecessary joints .

After cooling and drying, the material retains its shape. The result is a structure distinguished by exceptional lightness and impressive durability. Our No. 18 chair maintains its form for years, offering comfort, stability and timeless aesthetics .
